Welcome to a journey through different times and places where Salsa music has been created. The music you will find ont the left side are examples of sets played during social dance events, each one unique and hand-selected by Rafael to the best suit for dancing students or for people who adopted Salsa as a way of life. Songs are not cut short or blended into each other.

Personally, DJ RAFAEL loves Old School Salsa but because it is about satisfying all of you, Rafael will play a combination of Salsa Romantica, Latin Jazz, Mambo, Descargas, Boogaloo and of course some Cuban, Cha cha and Bachata.

Being a dancer himself, Rafael has the ability to identify whether dancers on the floor dance “on 1 or on 2” helping him to select the right music with the aim to satisfy beginners, intermediate dancers as well as the more advanced with challenging songs in timing and musicality.

"People who do not know me often ask me what music I play. My answers is that I try to avoid  overplayed songs whilst trying to bring unusual  tracks surprising people without forgetting the most  essential element which is to please the crowd" DJ RAFAEL
